Born Nov. 16, 1933, Bronx, NY; passed away Aug. 19,2019, at home with his family by his side, due to complications from Renal Failure. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956 and was stationed in Laon, France working as an Air Traffic Controller. He came back to the states where he began his career as an Air Traffic Controller with the FAA. He met the love of his life, Charlotte Helen Tarver (Charlie), who he married on June 27, 1958. He had many accomplishments in his life including; being a PATCO member, owning 2 businesses, working for The Decorators Union (Dallas), Tarrant Co. Sheriffs Dept., and finally, the USPS as a letter carrier, of which he retired from. He took his family on many, many vacations during his lifetime. He did a huge amt. of writing in his spare time as well as crosswords every day. He had a different kind of sense of humor so you really had to know him in order to know whether or not he was serious or pulling your leg.

Dutch is survived by his wife of 61 yrs., Charlie, as well as 3 children; Chuck, John Sr. and Julie Bee. He is also survived by his sister and her husband, Amanda and Edward Goldberg! Many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dutch will be missed very, very much but will be reunited with the family one day!
